Welcome

Welcome To The Compassionate Friends

East of The River CT Chapter

Whether your family has had a child die (at any age, from any cause) or you are trying to help those who have gone through this life altering experience, The Compassionate Friends exists to provide friendship, understanding, and hope to those going through the natural grieving process.

At a National and International Level, The Compassionate Friends has been supporting bereaved families after the death of a child for four decades.  TCF East Of the River CT is one of the available Connecticut Chapters, and was founded in 2010.

(the best way to access a FULL Listing of current chapters is to PHONE or EMAIL the National Office.
We have found that the Chapter Locator Tool on the national site often does not show all current available chapters.

Feel free to contact TCF’s National Office at
877-969-0010 or
 nationaloffice@compassionatefriends.org
should you need assistance in finding a local Chapter or you have any other questions.)

As we have just lost our TCF meeting Room space after 9 years in the same location, due to management change and more than doubling of our rates, we currently do not have a meeting location.  Hopefully, we will have secured a new meeting room space sometime in 2020.  That doesn’t mean that we aren’t there to help and support!  WE STILL ARE!

We currently are still offering email, Facebook, and Telephone support.

In addition to The Compassionate Friends local services, the National Office and its staff also provide many levels of support to local chapters, as well as individual responses to those who call on the phone, contact TCF through the website, or send an e-mail that simply says, “My child has died. Help me!”

We will be here as long as you need us. That is our commitment to you.

Time has proven that in caring and sharing comes healing.

We Welcome You
