Welcome To The Compassionate Friends
East of The River CT ChapterWhether your family has had a child die (at any age, from any cause) or you are trying to help those who have gone through this life altering experience, The Compassionate Friends exists to provide friendship, understanding, and hope to those going through the natural grieving process.
At a National and International Level, The Compassionate Friends has been supporting bereaved families after the death of a child for four decades. TCF East Of the River CT is one of the 9 available Connecticut Chapters, and was founded in 2010.
As we have just lost our TCF meeting Room space after 9 years in the same location, due to management change and more than doubling of our rates, we currently do not have a meeting location. Hopefully, we will have secured a new meeting room space by fall 2019.
We currently are still offering email, Facebook, and Telephone support.

In addition to The Compassionate Friends local services, the National Office and its staff also provide many levels of support to local chapters, as well as individual responses to those who call on the phone, contact TCF through the website, or send an e-mail that simply says, “My child has died. Help me!”
We will be here as long as you need us. That is our commitment to you.
Time has proven that in caring and sharing comes healing.
